Here's another Patriot team in tiptop form
But Anderson is planning to retire in February after 19 years on the job at the transportation and real estate company. That's the longest current tenure of any CEO of a Jacksonville public company. "It seemed to be time," Anderson said Thursday. "Its human capital and its financial position are in good shape. I would not leave if it weren't," he said. Anderson will be succeeded as president and chief executive of Patriot by John Baker, the former CEO of Florida Rock Industries Inc. Patriot was spun off from Florida Rock as a separate public company in 1986, and Baker has been on the board all that time. Anderson will turn 63 in March and while he's retiring from Patriot, he doesn't plan on being idle. "I intend to look for an opportunity. I don't know what that might be," he said.

The choice of Rove as commencement speaker had some students planning to walk out and others trying to bring comedian Stephen Colbert to the campus for an alternate speech. Tom Cruise 1st to Get Ducati Superbike
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. January 29, 2008, 08:44 pm ET · Tom Cruise is the first on the list to get Ducati's newest motorcycle — a $72,500 superbike bristling with titanium, magnesium and carbon fiber technology that can scoot up to 200 mph. Cruise is scheduled to take delivery of the Desmosedici RR at Beverly Hills Ducati this week. Only 1,500 of the red-and-white Moto GP racing replica motorcycles will be made and Cruise gets the first. Michael Lock, chief of Cupertino-based Ducati North America, said the Desmosedici RR "is the impossible dream — made possible." "We are delighted to be able to deliver the world's first production unit here in the USA to Tom Cruise, who is a well-known Ducati enthusiast," Lock said in a statement. ——— On The Net: http://www.ducatiusa.com.
AT&T Offers Wi-Fi Hotspot Access for Free!
The good news is that the next time you find yourself at a Barnes & Noble bookstore, you could be surfing the web with your laptop and it won't cost you a penny. Got a few hours to kill at the airport? They've got you covered there too, because AT&T is reportedly giving out free access to their over 10,000 Wi-Fi hotspots across the country. That's the good news. The caveat is that this free access is not being opened up to every Dick and Jane. Instead, the free access is being offered only to existing AT&T broadband subscribers. It's still a nice gesture, because if you're already filling up the coffers of AT&T through your home Internet access, they might as well provide you with webby goodness on the road too. Gonzaga test was needed, Calipari says
After all of the talk about Joey last week, look who ends up playing the most minutes for the Tigers in a huge game. This just goes to show what he can do when he's motivated and concentrates. Love the state line: 9pts, 13rebs, 4blks, 2stls, 0TOs. Granted, he fouled out, but it was at the end of the game and at least one of the fouls was an awful call: when the Zag player was posting up one of our guards on the right block, Joey helped down and made a clean strip but was called for a reach in foul (I think it was his 2nd). The refs also missed two obvious double dribbles by the Zags. Terrible! .
Real estate agents 'preying on battlers'
From what I can see, this is an organisation who is just going out trying to buy properties cheaply and using the internet to access vendors and offering them cheap deals," he said. "They're saying there are no agents' costs. Of course there are no agents' costs because there are no agents involved." The New South Wales Fair Trading Department has issued a warning about the online firms. NSW Fair Trading Minister says the practice is not illegal but there there are several things people struggling with their mortgages should do. "If you're under mortgage stress, make sure that if you're going to sell your home, however you're going to sell it, get a proper evaluation," she said. "Go to your lender and let them know the sort of trouble that you're in and get some financial counselling advice." Homeowners are advised to contact their local fair trading or consumer affairs department for detailed information about how to find a licensed real estate agent.
